UCWeb has on Tuesday released an updated version of its UC Browser HD for Android, bringing it up to version 3.2. The UC Browser HD has been specifically designed for tablets or large-screen smartphones. According to company, UC Browser HD 3.2 is aimed at taking the user's 'mobile video experience to a new level'.
The updated UC Browser HD 3.2 is currently
available for download at Google Play.
UCWeb is touting three new features in the UC Browser HD 3.2 app for Android, with two related directly to video access and management, and the third related to user interface features.
The first new video-based feature on UC Browser HD 3.2 is called Video More (seen above). The feature lists what the company calls the 'most popular videos' from various video sites. Users will be able to access the Video More section by swiping left on the browser's home screen. The company says Video More is currently only available in India at the moment, but that it will soon be available in more countries.
The other new video-based feature on UC Browser HD 3.2 is the My Videos (seen above) video management tool, that sets users to play and delete the videos they have saved. To access it, users will have to click the Menu button on the top right corner, and then select My Videos.
The third new feature is the newly-revamped menu (seen above), which has been redesigned for simplicity - aiming to provide 'only the most popular and essential features'.
Also new, is support for Samsung's split-screen multitasking Multi Window feature (seen below), allowing Samsung users to utilise other apps while browsing with UC Browser at the same time.
