Sticking to its Mobile World Congress promise of delivering the full version of Skype Windows Phone app, Microsoft has released the version 1.0 in Marketplace. This version sheds the beta tag as well as brings several new features.

Skype Windows Phone app now includes search, add new contacts feature and minor improvements. The initial user reviews have been mixed with users mainly complaining about the missing ability to receive calls when Skype isn't running, which means you will always need to keep the app active otherwise other users won't be able to Skype you.
