In a blog post, the Skype Team announced that the latest update will allow users to manage conversations on Android Wear devices such as the Moto 360, Huawei Watch, LG Watch Urbane, or the Asus ZenWatch.
Skype back in June added Apple Watch integration bringing several features such as notification for incoming Skype calls on the Apple Watch.
With the rollout, Skype users will be notified of and can read new messages on the Android Wear device only. The update also adds option to reply to messages directly from Android Wear device via the voice-to-text. For quick responses, the users can send pre-written responses.
Another highlight addition of the updated Skype app for Android is the ability to respond with an emoji from the Android Wear device. Users can also draw on the watch and send as response.

Other features that will be accessible via Android Wear device include notification for Skype calls and option to decline or take the call. "Accept incoming calls on your Android Wear device - and use Skype on your Android phone using the microphone, headphones, or a wireless Bluetooth speaker or headset," notes the blog.
Skype last week faced a brief outage that prevented some users from making calls, sending chats, or updating their status. The issue was later resolved. Due to the issue, some users were unable to make calls as their settings claiming that the user and other contacts were offline, even when they were logged in.
