OnePlus might not have brought Android 7.0 Nougat treatment to OnePlus 3 yet, but it wants to ensure that its users don't feel left out. The company has started rolling out OxygenOS 3.2.6 OTA update for the OnePlus 3, which carries certain crucial bug fixes as well as performance improvements for the smartphone.
According to the changelog posted by the company, the OxygenOS 3.2.6 update for the OnePlus 3 brings along improvements to camera quality, fixes green/yellow issue, brings optimised white balance, and improved 1080p video recording.
The company claims that the OxygenOS 3.2.6 update for the OnePlus 3 addresses some of the Bluetooth connection problems for vehicles and also allows third-party applications to modify ringtones. The update brings optimised battery consumption when scrolling as well as optimised touch accuracy when playing games, as per the company's official blog.
The OxygenOS 3.2.6 update also brings optimised voice call quality for some IM applications and improved adaptive brightness performance to the OnePlus 3, as per the company. It adds 'DozeMode' switch in Developer options and adds 'PocketMode' switch in Display settings as per the changelog.
As usual, OnePlus has said that the rollout for the update will be gradual. The size of the update is rather small, at around 40MB, when you consider the changes that it is bringing along with itself.
OnePlus recently announced it is merging its HydrogenOS and OxygenOS into one combined platform to push out faster software updates in future.
