Microsoft Garage team's SMS Organizer app, made only for Indian Android users, essentially caters to an audience that likes to keep their SMS inbox de-cluttered. The app uses machine learning to pick out messages and classify them based on priority. It also comes with some nifty features like the option to delete OTP messages, promotional messages, and blocked messages - after three days, a week, month, or year; and even sending bill reminders. On Thursday, Microsoft announced that the app will now be able to show CBSE Class 10 and CBSE Class 12 results across India on D-Day, even without Internet connectivity.
With the results day closing in, this nifty feature will prove to be useful to all those students who are waiting in anticipation. On the day of result, students would normally have to head to the official website to check their result, and poor Internet connectivity as well as overloaded servers can increase the suspense. To bring students out of their misery, Microsoft's SMS Organiser app has started taking pre-registrations for CBSE results.
In order to sign up for this service, students need to first download the Microsoft SMS Organizer app from Google Play. Once you install it, you will notice a CBSE registration link right on top. Click on the notification, and fill details like your roll number, school code, and date of birth to complete the registration. On result day, the app will notify users they result has arrived, and provide a scorecard. The scorecard data result arrives as a text message so the need for Internet connectivity does not arise.
The SMS Organizer is a neat app for all those who can't deal with a messy SMS inbox. The app also has a reminders section where you can add a reminder, but you'll also see bill reminders scraped from your SMS. You'll see your different accounts so you can check your bank balance or wallet balance as well, again, taken from your inbox.
