Google has introduced a new feature on Google app for iOS as it now recommends articles to users on the basis of the content that they are currently reading on their device. Unfortunately, the new feature is currently available just in the US but the search giant says that it will expand the support for more languages and regions soon.
In order to get the recommendations inside the Google app for iOS, users simply need to scroll back up after finishing reading the article. On doing this, users will be presented with the relevant articles to the one that they just finished reading.
"Starting today, while you're reading a webpage on the Google app for iOS, you'll see suggestions for related content when you pull up the bottom of the page-no need to type anything into the search box to learn more. Suppose you've just finished reading an introductory article about the Mars rover. When you start scrolling back up, you'll see additional articles on this topic that may interest you, like upcoming Mars missions or an in-depth story about the rover exploring a gully that might've contained water. Alternatively, if you're reading a recipe for roasting shishito peppers, you'll be able to jump straight to other ways to prepare them, such as grilling them, with a single tap," the search giant said in its blog post.
While our Indian readers will not be able to enjoy the feature as of now, the ones from the US can now check out relevant articles with ease.
