Evernote has been introducing steady updates for its apps across all platforms. The latest one comes to Windows Phone that brings along a host of redesigns and performance improvements. Note List gets a makeover with a new tile display along with pop-up tips to help you notice app functionality better and there's a more spacious layout for the Note Editor.
Beginning with the Note List, notes are now displayed in a tile format with each tile containing the note title, date and text from the note. Icons indicating an attachment or audio are displayed allowing you to sort and access your notes more easily. In case a note consists of an image, it will take up the lower two-thirds of the tile.
Version 2.5 of the app now also adds helpful popup messages that point out different functions to enable you to use Evernote to its fullest potential. The Note Editor interface now sports a more simplified look with extra room to view and edit the content of your notes.
In addition to these updates, Evernote has also improved the sign-in pages and added significant performance improvements that make the app more responsive than before.
The Evernote for Windows Phone v2.2 update that was released earlier this year brought native notebook sharing, improved editing and better search.
