Launched in December last year, Rovio's Angry Birds Go!, a cart racing game, recently touched the 100-million-download milestone, and is currently standing at 107 million downloads as per company's announcement on Friday. To celebrate the milestone, Rovio announced a new feature for the game, called Team Multiplayer. The new multiplayer mode lets a total of six users (three versus three) race at a time in the game.

Alongside the new multiplayer feature for Angry Birds Go!, Rovio in the latest update for the game, has also introduced Nighttime Racing feature.

"To celebrate, we're launching the most-awaited update for Angry Birds Go! yet - team multiplayer! Get ready, assemble a team with your friends, and go beak-to-snout with other crews in 3-on-3 multiplayer races. Daytime racing feeling too easy for you, hot shot? Well, turn on the high beams and race by moonlight in brand new nighttime competitions!," stated Rovio's blog.

Last month, Rovio made its new Angry Birds game - Angry Birds Transformers - available for download for Android and iOS users via Google Play and the App Store respectively. The side-scrolling mobile game is different from the franchise's previous catapult-styled game titles, and features the popular Angry Bird characters running and using a range of different weapons hitting targets in the background including the pigs, buildings and more.

The company also launched its Angry Birds Stella in September. The game app is a female-focused spinoff of the popular Angry Birds game. In the game, Stella and friends try to save Golden Island from the villain, Gale, and the famous green piggies.
