Alto's Odyssey has now officially landed on Android, via Google Play. To recall, developer Snowman announced the July 26 launch last week. Pre-registrations for game on Google's mobile platform began back in late June, with the ability to be notified whenever the game becomes available on the Google Play. The endless snowboarding game came to iOS a few months back at a price of $4.99 in the US and Rs. 399 on the Indian App Store. On Android, however, the game is free-to-play and comes with an ad-supported revenue model.

As mentioned, Alto's Odyssey is kind of an endless snowboarding game that is meant to fun and easy to play. It is based on the same concept as its prequel Alto's Adventure but comes with a different set of locales and elements that make it unique. Background music in the game is also addictive and soothing. As for ads, a commercial will appear before your character is revived after a fall. It also offers in-app purchases priced ranging between $0.99 (roughly Rs. 68) and $9.99 (around Rs. 680).

File size of version 1.0.1 the mobile game on Android is about 57MB and it requires Android 4.1 or up for installation.

In our review of the game on iOS, we noted that the game makes you go out of your comfort zone and explore the various elements that its UI has to offer. These elements include wall riding, balloon bounces, and vine grinds. All in all, "the game has such a nice, relaxing feel that it never feels like a chore to play. To top it off, the variety in scenery, weather, and time of the day in Alto's Odyssey gives it near endless replay value."
