Oscars are slated to take place on February 24, 2013, at the Dolby Theatre and it seems that the awards fever has gripped all and sundry. This is the eighty fifth year of the Oscars, considered by most to be the most respected film awards.

The most notable thing for these awards this year is that they have been rebranded to 'The Oscars' from "85th Academy Awards". The Award ceremony is organised by Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) and co-producer of show, Neil Meron, mentioned in an interview that "85th Academy Awards" was too "musty".
