I bought it from Mumbai reseller as they were giving me in much lesser price. This is just a jem, i bought it just after trying its speed on a demo lappie. Recommend to buy from authorised reseller. Love it.

Excellent product. Worth the investment. Retina display is amazing - opt for the 15inch version if you can. Also the Touchbar is innovative and helpful, contrary to some people calling it a gimmick. The SSD hardrive is superfast and it took me around 15 mins to transfer 111 GB of photos from my USB 3.0 portable drive! Not to mention that browsing through 25 MB RAW files in the Gallery is super smooth and without lag thanks to the SSD and 16 GB RAM. All in all, a worthy investment

Superb you should buy

Its a beast

Though it's very expensive, but if you have the money then you should go for it. I did not buy it myself, but got this as my work computer from my company. The performance is very smooth, the OS is very beautiful and the touch bar is much more sensible than a touchscreen on a laptop. Overall I'll give it 5/5 on most departments except value for money. But then again, the brand Apple is a status symbol, and maybe worth investing in. I've known people use a MacBook for years without any issue, and I hardly know anyone to switch to a Windows PC from a Mac, but I know many who go to Mac from Windows. So that speaks for itself.

This is not good product

After a lot of soul searching, I decided to take the plunge and acquire this machine - didn't buy from Amazon as my local distributor had a far better price! It is my second Mac. I upgraded from a late 2011 MacBook Pro 13" with a core i7 processor. I had since upgraded my old machine to include a 256GB SSD and 16GB RAM. So, after being used to that kind of performance, I could go no for nothing less than similar specs! Unfortunately, the 13 inch versions which I preferred, for ease of carrying, did not support higher than 8GB of RAM and I had to settle for the 15" version. I am glad that I did - this machine is lighter than my previous 13" Mac and the form factor is stunning with thin bezels around the display making the overall size of the 15 inch quite easy to carry around. Here are my impressions of this machine after using it for roughly 20 days:Pros:Looks greatSuperb display - vivid colours and very good clarityLove the Space Grey colour - although a lot of people commented that silver was more impactful. But it is largely a personal preference.Touch ID is great! Very convenient as you don't have to type in your password when you log in after the computer wakes from sleep modeTouch bar is interesting, and convenient in some apps (for e.g. the calculator app), but its overall effectiveness is limited as of now!Cons:Very expensive for the specs!Keyboard takes some getting used to. I have heard of many folks having issues with stuck keys or keys that repeat! But, I have not faced any such problems yet, but the noise that this low travel keys make can get quite annoying! I now can no longer type when I am on Skype calls without muting! I think the previous versions of the MacBook Pro had great keyboards!USB C ports only is a pain as you need to get adapters to use any of your old peripherals! I ended up buying USB C to USB A type converters and USB C to HDMI converter! These add to the TCO!The battery life on this machine is rated at 9 hours, but in practical use so far, I have only seen it last for 5 to 6 hours roughly! I use Skype a lot and have Microsoft Office suite running along with a few other apps.Overall, being a MacBook fan, I am quite satisfied with my purchase and expect to use this machine for the next 5 years!

The product is okay.. But thats all u can expect in this lowest price segment....if you want a better performance laptop this this is is not for you.. This is for people who are below poverty line....and this comes under Pradhan mantri computer siksha vikas yojna.
