Guys.. I have been using Pro 2016 with touchbar from last 4 months.. If I get a chance to redecide which laptop I would go, I would happily choose pro.. No complaints at all.. works very fast. I am a doc by profession so don't have much idea about softwares.. As compared to my previous laptops (Waio, Lenovo & Hp), this is the best. I am not telling because it's apple product. The only drawback is that it has only USB C port but I am OK with it as I got used of using connectors.. In fact u will never get one negative review of a true buyer of Pro who is using it for more then 3 months..

I'm an engineering student and I have been using this for the past couple of months. Initially, I thought how will I use the new touch bar feature. But guys, it really comes handy. There are many things you can do with Mac OS which you cannot do with windows. It is fast, durable, built feels sturdy and of course you get to show off a bit.
So, if you are a coder, designer, blogger, editor or a photographer go for it. It is the best.

Guys..
If u wanna own a laptop.. this is the one.
Its just simply awsome. Its processor is damm good that heavy softwares like lightroom or final cut pro runs like anything... Its like butter.
I'm using this laptop for my projects and so far its very good.
Battery backup is more than 10 hours, no heating problem, sometime, I use this for 2 days continuously.
This product is just simply awsome....!!
Suggestion for a developer: Don't upgrade your OS until and unless you know how to setup environment variable, lot of development environments will break because of an upgrade. Factory installed OS is more than enough for you.
Pros:
-Very snappy
-Gorgeous display (and bright, I rarely need full brightness on this thing)
-Very lightweight @ 1.36kg
-Good battery life: I get about 10 hours on average
-Very quiet: I can barely hear the fan when it's going. This is a big change from my 2013 15" rMPB which constantly sounded like a jet engine.
Cons:
-Should have been released a year ago, or at least earlier this year (2016). I would have felt better about the price point, especially now that we have Kaby Lake processors coming soon.
-Ports, ports.. I will mostly miss MagSafe (looking forward to some creative USB-C magnetic mid-cable or charger-side solutions). I will be needing a few USB-C cables/dongles, but I can see where technology is going and I get it. I do wish Apple had left a USB-A port, or included a dongle, or something to appease the "Pro" crowd.
-Minor detail, but I prefer half-height left and right arrow keys on the keyboard. Easier to quickly find the arrows that way. I'm guessing they did away with that for visual symmetry.
Other mentions:
-The larger trackpad is nice I guess, but in practical terms I don't know if the larger size creates any added benefit for me (Apple Pencil support would have been nice). Palm rejection is good while typing, I haven't had any problems there.
-Some folk were peeved about the removal of the illuminated Apple logo on the back of the screen. I personally don't care.
-The speakers do sound fairly good (they were hyped during the release), but they are not an important consideration for me.

Very snappy and fast BUT BATTERY SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. Many people claimed to have reached 10 hrs of juice but mine gets over at 5 hrs max!! Yes I do stuff internet and watch videos sometimes but that's what most people do work their laptops. Everything's good but the battery.

Future ready, power and portability
Rohit (Jun 7, 2017)

Product is good with great display. Some distinguished benefits other than mentioned in other reviews :- Thin vessel makes it look great and productive- Touchbar is underrated, it comes handy and useful many times- Touch ID is fast and responsive- Performance is great- Light and thin1 issue that I got when bought from Amazon was, it already had 8 battery cycle count showing in power preferences, ideally for new machine it should be 0.Update:As checked with apple, cycle count increases when apple recalls for charging machine while it sits on shelf. After month of use : Touchbar is not that useful but not bad as well. it occasionally do help!Touch ID is awesomeSound is out of the world !

I give Macbook Pro 13 a 4 🌟
Toshi Aley (Sep 28, 2017)
on Amazon
Apple Macbook Pro 13 Inch✔ SPECS:? 13 inch 2,560 x 1,600Resolution? ?2.9GHz Intel Core i5 processor? ?8GB DDR3 RAM256GB Solid State hard drive? ?Intel Iris 550 GB Graphics? ?Mac OS operating system 2016 model with Touch Bar✔ DESIGN:? The MacBook Pro measures 14.9mm (0.58 inches) thick, and is 17% thinner with 23% less volume compared to the previous generation model. It?s still shaped like a Pro, keeping the same thickness throughout the base, unlike the MacBook Air?s tapered design. It may not be the complete redesign that some were hoping for, but it's undeniably premium and solid to boot, thanks to its all-aluminum enclosure. Laptops do not receive better build quality than this.? At a hair more than three pounds, the MacBook Pro weighs almost the same as the Air. Whether you?re picking it up using a single hand or slipping it into a backpack for transportation, the half-a-pound weight saved compared to the previous 13-inch Pro makes a huge difference to portability.✔ CONNECTIVITY:? Previous 13-inch Pros featured a healthy array of connections ? including HDMI, mini DisplayPort, two USB-A ports an an SD card reader. This new version? Not so much. All of the above have been replaced with two Thunderbolt 3.0-speed USB-C connections. The multi-talented USB-C standard allows you to connect peripherals and hook up external displays to your MacBook while charging the machine at the same time.Far more versatile than USB-A and capable of much faster transfer speeds (40Gbps versus 60MBps), USB-C is undoubtedly the future of connectivity. However, Apple?s decision to only include two ports on this entry-level MacBook Pro is an unfortunate limitation, and it also positions the machine as a direct MacBook Air successor.✔ KEYBOARD AND TRACKPAD:? Much has been said about the new MacBook Pro's keyboard, which use an evolved version of Apple's Butterfly switches that debuted in the 12-inch MacBook's keyboard. Its keys possess the same 0.5mm of travel (or distance to depress), meaning that the two keyboards feel very similar to type on.? However, the second-generation switches in the new MacBook elicit a subtle snap that almost feels like a very low-profile mechanical keyboard under the fingers. It?s a drastic change coming from older MacBook Pros, and has both a positive and negative effect.e machine?s slim dimensions, features per-key backlighting that results in zero light bleed, and its enlarged keycaps make sense considering the MacBook?s newly enlarged trackpad.? It offers a much improved typing experience over both the 12-inch MacBook and previous MacBook Pros. The switches' clicky nature allows you to settle into a more comfortable typing rhythm, and it's possible to bash out plenty of words in a short space of time.✔ SCREEN AND SPEAKERS:? Apple stuck with the same 2,560 x 1,600 pixel-resolution for the display that you?ll find on the previous generation MacBook Pro. It?s a sensible move considering the toll that upgrading it to 4K or even QHD+ would have on battery life. The display is 67% brighter with 67% higher contrast ratio and 25% more colors than previous Pro models, and it?s noticeable from the moment you flip open the lid. Images appear incredibly vibrant, with deep blacks and colors that ?pop?.? Movies are great to watch on it, and both videos and music benefit from Apple?s redesigned speaker system which delivers twice the dynamic range compared to older models.✔ PERFORMANCE:? When it comes to getting stuff done, the MacBook Pro is more than up to the task. The Skylake processor and 8GB of memory combine to great effect, allowing a double digit number of applications to be open at once with several tab-filled browsers in the background.? ?The MacBook?s impressive battery life is capable of reaching into the double figures if you keep the display?s brightness turned down to halfway while monitoring any apps that may be sapping battery life.✔ VERDICT:? Having just two (poorly positioned) USB-C ports rules out the use of multiple monitors and charging at the same time, and you?ll need to pick up at least a dongle or two if you want to use those wired USB-A peripherals that you?ve been accustomed to. And, then there?s that keyboard, which is such an integral part to the computing experience that its lack of tactility may make it unsuitable for people who type thousands of words daily for a living. But, saying that Apple design for their Macbook has always being forth on the line and it is the best in class.Thank You PEACE

Product supplied not as per specifications. Quoted speed 3.1gh laptop received for 2.9gh. I could not return the product because delivery status was not updated. And the status was updated ie after 12 days of receipt, the window for return was over. Now the product is lying packed up with me. Can't use. Approached customer care but no avail so far. Overall a frustrating experience.
