If laptops had an automotive analogy, I'd compare it with a mercedes.The hardware-The macbooks aluminium shell gives it a premium look , along with a sturdy backlit keyboard and the smoothest mouse pad ive used till date.Battery life is exceptional , it lasts longer than my smartphone with regular screen on time exceeding 7 hours. Also , it charges under 2 hours which is great.The display is phenomenal , videos and pictures look better than an HD tv thanks to its 2560p display.Software-Comes shipped with MAC osX (Yosemite) which apes ios8 in terms of look and feel and although not as intuitive as windows for productivity, its better than its counterpart in every other way. Its fluid, its fast and most importantly wont be affected by viruses.Only caveat is 128 GB SSD , if you purchase a 1 TB drive , you'll be better off!

Just 200grams more than Macbook Air 13", but has many advantages over it. Built in HDMI, SD card reader are useful. Additional ports are also helpful... And that retina display is gorgeous! Fully satisfied.Apple knows how to make best computers

Awesome display, superb keyboard (with nice feedback and backlit), very fast to boot and almost all softwares needed for work, pleasure, backups come bundled in Mac OS. Can't find a fault so far. The product came well packaged and delivery was swift.

I have been with Windows since 1989 and have only I thing to say, Mac is fast and is pretty fast. Buy one and you will not regret your decision.

The product is amazing. Three other friends got the same configuration Mac pro purchased in US, UK which are almost same as this one except the keyboard layout. The built quality and performance is also same and I am very much satisfied with the product. The one year warranty service is activated as soon as I visited the apple site and registered the product with my personal details. I am a software consultant and I am using it from 3 months for development. The performance and battery backup are outstanding. I am also using Windows 8.1 OS installed through bootcamp on this machine and is working great. The deal is very good when compared to price in apple store India.
