Since Apple doesn't consider India as it's primary market so it may take a month or two to launch ipad4 in India. But i am positive it will launch soon!! I personally use an iPad 3rd Gen, and it's great...:)

When the new one will hit indian market? No news from anyone else. What Will be the price. below 40k Or above 40k? Will it be launched in this december? Retina display is excellent. If someone wants a product of more longevity & durability, Pls buy this one.

Pros - Excellent Display - Excellent Battery Life - Good Camera - Ease of Use - etc etc... phew..there are a lot of good ones.. limiting to these Cons - Bit tough to manage apps using itunes. Apple can make the usability of itunes better - Most of "The best" apps cost close to $5- $10. Can be a bit costly. On a whole, a good product to have in hand, though Apple products are a bit on the expensive side, the usability counts for the price. Must buy!! Thanks,

this is an amazing gadget inttoduced by the best gadget makerz apple...!! an amazing touch with a display or 10.1inches, i tell u all to buy dis one instead of galaxy tab or any other one..if u r facing problemz because of itunes syncing or bluetooth den its up to u..!!!

I really enjoy the product. We cannot compare apple to oranges. I bought it for my son and he enjoys every bit of it. Worth the money and got it in a good deal. It has retina display too, he doesn't play that high end games, and that high end games need a lot of memory.. It's just 16gb. I don't know how a charger pin is going to change the view of buying it, any charger is supposed to charge the device and a 30 pin connector also does it..well. I don't find any processor difference - A5, A6. We are loving it. Great graphics, great sound. Fun time..

This product is ultimatum. I've used the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.0 before the iPad and it feels like I've upgraded to something much much better. The display is gorgeous and everything in the tablet is so, so user-friendly. Samsung's tablet now feels like nothing.. This feels so much better.. The touchscreen is way better, the performance is killing! Games feel awesome and I think this is just the righ tablet.. Apple apps like Find my iPhone and Remote are crazily amazing! I can control my iTunes in the computer placed in my room from the iPad with me when I'm watching TV in the living area! Music is good. I can split the keyboard into two! Everything is good about all iPads. The battery is a great 10 hours of usage.. One bad thing, though is that Siri doesn't work well with my Indian accent.. Overall, I'd spend the extra anytime to get an iPad over the other rubbish devices..

Excellent product by Apple. Working very smooth , never getting hang , came also good , everything is good. No complaint.

I purchased it for my wife and she is now used to it. She cant think about a day with out it. Its now become a part of her life.

At such reduced prices from Flipkart, it is an absolute steal of a deal. Carries the standard one-year warranty with itself. Totally recommended.

For people who are at the verge of getting one and not quite sure whether to put in so much money... just go for it.. It will make your everyday life much simpler and it the display is to die for.

its amazing products in flipkart. this particular new Ipad is Ipad 3 which is after the release of latest Ipad 4 will be considered as obsolete as the new ipad 4 comes with the same price tag, but the configuration is superior. i suggest the people to stay away from this product and wait for the release of Ipad 4 in flipkart. once again thank you flipkart for this new move.

i personally feel ipad 3 is more than enough for my work going on... but with the new ipad on its way in india, i expect ipad 3 prices to fall ..... i will be waiting for this product to fall below 28k .... then it will be a real worth of buying it for me....

This is an iPad-3, 16GB(of-course with flagship Retina Display) working on iOS-5 (definitely upgradable to iOS-6). It cost around 36K discount included. Now, The iPad-4, 16GB (again with Retina Display) works on per-installed iOS6. Cost around 39K. Both are Cellular - means you can insert 3G SIM card and use it without worrying about Wi-Fi (possibility of getting this in India is same as seeing a UFO)! But the real difference comes in the "Chip" that makes them exceptionally faster than any Tablet present on Earth. The iPad-3 uses A5X and The iPad-4 uses A6X. Hint: A6X is almost double powerful than A5X! Now spending only 3k more will get you an iPad with A6X chip... Choice is yours!

Guys this is actually the 3rd gen iPad. Apple introduced 4th gen iPad in a surprise move which is not so surprising if you understand the differences between both generations. As any company with multiple products carrying same proprietary connectors, Apple had to upgrade iPad 3 which carried Apple's previous 30-pin dock connector. And by the time it was going to get upgraded, A6X processor had already been developed. So they put it in 4th gen. So in nutshell there are only 4 differences between 3rd and 4th gen iPads, which are 1. Lightning connector instead of 30-pin dock 2. iOS 6 preloaded instead of iOS 5 3. A6X processor instead of A5X 4. Front facing HD camera instead of VGA 3rd gen has been discontinued and 4th gen has taken its place while iPad 2 is still in production for those who don't wanna spend much on it. Since there is no price difference most of you would want to wait for 4th gen to come available in India. But since there is not much difference and Flipkart is providing an awesome deal for HDFC card holders to buy it in 12 month EMI without any processing fee you might be inclined to buy it. Well I think at least 19 out of 20 people would like to wait but there might be 1 who would want to go with this one instead of waiting for 1-2 months. Decision is yours.

i recieved the product with in 4 days and it's awesome.. good condition and quality.. it's a worth buy thing.. i've been using since 1 year and going good.. best place to buy ipads, i shall recommend flipkart. i had asked in many places and many shops.

iPad 3 is super smooth and almost flawless. I have not experienced a single glitch so far. I tried video calling using Google hangouts and it runs perfectly. Though the front camera is VGA, the picture quality is pretty good for video chatting with high frame rates. The box contains two apple logo stickers which is good if you have a back cover that hides the apple logo. You can stick one of the stickers there! Nice thought! If you have used Android then you would have been spoilt by the awesome customisability it offers. Here, you can't change anything apart from the wallpapers but I don't feel it's such a bad thing. The only problem is the lack of a file manager and the cumbersome iTunes. I mean, technology is supposed to save our time right? Well, here that's not the case. You cannot delete songs or pictures from your iPad. You need iTunes for that. There are many such restrictions and you will discover them as time passes. If you want to upload selected pictures from a folder on your PC, that's not possible. You need to create a new folder on your PC, put those selected pics there and then sync that folder to iPad. You cannot play mkv files. Even mp4 files of only certain bit rates are supported. That's just plain stupid considering the great potential this device has. Though there are third-party apps available for this but they don't always work perfectly, are paid and take up the precious space too.Well, I guess you should be prepared to face such things before buying any Apple gadget. Gaming and viewing pics is great on the 'retina' display. The keyboard is super accurate. The speaker is loud, clear and punchy. It's got some bass too and feels good to hear. Battery life is awesome and I get more than 10 hours after a full charge. Charging it takes around 6 hours though. The four and five finger gestures are smart. I ordered a Belkin Cinema Folio cover which allows us to make the iPad stand at a certain angle and protects it too. Wrapping up the review, I would say that if you are looking for a 10 inch tablet, your search ends here. The iPad is just too good to ignore! I am deducting one star just for the useless restrictions imposed by Apple.

This is just the older version of Ipad which comes with Retina Display,5Mp cam on the back and A5 processor at the back, but with regular apple connector as well as IOS 5. So this means all previous Ipad accessory will work with this model. But IOS 6 and A6 processor too hard to resist,So wait and skip this one....and shame on you apple.inc to give obsolete feel to the early adopter. Glad to find out, FK adding Ipad family in their product catalogue,Great. Hope you will also list Ipad mini too. Please add Mac desktops and laptop range in your computer section. You defiantly find many buyers.

Nice Product from Apple and have good performance. But Flipkart must write the iPad 3 at the place of New iPad. Its confusing the people that its iPad 3 or 4. Because Apple already has new iPad which is iPad 4.

Hello, This is the third generation IPAD as told by many of the reviewers, my contention is that why should you buy a previous generation IPAD when a new one is already launched in many countries, especially when there is no price difference. One should not particularly buy this model as its already discontinued by apple. Secondly the processor, as many of the reviewers have pointed out that this has A5 processor and the new IPAD has A6...well there might not be significant difference in user experience but within a years time apple will launch a new IPAD, and then the A5 will seem totally outdated. thirdly, the charging charging and connect is revamped in the new ipad which is gonna be the standard for all the new apple products for few years to come atleast...so if you buy this product you will have an ipad with outdated connector not compatible with any new IPAD accessories or other products. Since apple doesnt launch its products after months of their introduction in India why should you buy an updated tablet....hold on till they launch the new IPAD which they are already selling elsewhere..

My reason behind buying an iPad was to use it mainly as an e reader: books, magazines and browsing. The screen is beautiful no second thoughts abt that! It snappy too. Apps take some time to load, they don't lag though. The main reason I chose apple tablet was the availability of many tablet optimized apps. So you have no trouble when it comes to app selection. My only complaint is the weight. When you use it as an e reader you hold it for hours together. The iPad 3 isn't very comfortable to hold for long duration. (iPad 4 also would have the same issue I guess.) You get only 13 GB of free memory. So if you intend to download games and watch movies go for a higher capacity iPad.

iPad is a beast. No doubt about it. Awesome experience and a good companion when you are on move. Only thing that slightly disappoints me is reduced battery life. On continuous 3G it barely last 5-6 hours. Is it a peculiar problem with my machine or a widespread problem with iPads.

Lightning connector, A6X chip and preloaded iOS 6 are the new standards for Latest generation of iPad. This model is outdated and it doesnt make any sense to purchase outdated model. For the same bucks you can get new and advance model.

This is the old ipad.. the ipad 3 and not the refreshed ipad 3 that was launched recently. dont get confused. This runs the old a5 processor and not the a6 processor that is about twice as fast.. so u only get the retina display and not the processor. Would suggest that u wait until the refreshed version is up here.

Guys,the New Ipad is the 4th generation one and of near about 40k-45k for the same model(64gb wifi)...so,dot be fooled buying an older version...its the 3rg gen one with A5X processor and not A6X(Iphone 5 has A6)....the new Ipad has better processor speed and untamed graphics...so,please reconsider...and Flipkart, its annoying...

After launching ipad mini, apple has also updated their new ipad 3rd generation . New feature includes quad core A6 processor, Instead of 30 pin connector it got lightning connector which is the best update as it can be use to connect memory card reader and usb connector. so guys please wait for the updated version . Dealers just want to get ride of all the old 3rd generation ipad without lightning connector ,so they are selling those at lesser price .. lightning connector make a huge difference which you can face later .like u cant use memory card in ipad .(memory card can be use using memory card connector applicable for lightning connector and can be use to view videos and images only)
