It seems HTC is busy preparing an even more powerful Jelly Bean successor of One X. Codenamed Endeavour C2, the device will have 1.7GHz quad core processor and an improved battery.

According to a report in Stuff, the One X successor will have a similar design to the former and will bring the support for all One X accessories.

The Endeavour will also come with ClearVoice, HTC Watch 2, and a new colour option, which is still unknown.

There is no word on the display size or other specifications of the smartphone.

Stuff further states that the smartphone will be launched on or before October 1. Endeavour C2 is not the only high-end smartphone that HTC is reportedly working on. A recent rumour also suggests that the company is also making a full-HD smartphone that will come with a 5-inch display and will compete with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

HTC has had some bad quarters and the company needs some great devices to bring it out of the depression.
