Got it for my parents, mainly for the drop in feature, since they don't know to make video calls and I have been using it for a while. Its. Awesome and mom comes to it as soon as she hears the click.Of late they have started using it for news, music, etc... and enjoying it so far.Really glad with the purchase. Very useful.

Voice recognition is even from a distance

Very good..one of the best gift item..alexa is working very perfectly. Must buy item..thanks amazon and seller for the same.

Only issue is that we need to connect it to power , Its not portableonline support people dont know much about this product

I literally love this product. It has very good sound and picture quality. Voice recognition is quite good. I am able to connect Spotify, Netflix, prime video, and youtube. Disney Hotstar is not working due to a browser version issue. Zoom calls and hangout calls are not yet supported.

Just loved it. I have Google nest hub also bit Echo show 8 is unbeatable of you are on the Amazon smart home ecosystem. The sound is fantastic. Having said that I would like Amazon to bring some more usability and functionality for the home screen like Google nest hub. Card ui with sections for media, your day and so on. Screen size is the best for everything. It's the UI which is a bit out dated and less informative. Amazon should look into it if they want to be this game and lead the smart home game.

Good enough to get your spouse J. Endless possibilities to explore. Bedside Clock, Radio, Music Player. companion....Only problem is Alexa has taken me to be an American, settled in Kolkata. This is due to my original Amazon US account !

Clear images and sound.

Sensitive sound pick up, great smart features l. Would have just liked a tilt feature/ stand given the camera points a little upwards and isn't the best viewing angle if you want a straight view. And more 'videos' would just make it perfect.

This is a very good product from Amazon in this low cost (I brought this for 7K). It's recognizing the voice from 10 to 15 feet distance. Very good sound quality and it meets my requirement so no need of Dolby digital. Built quality is very good and it is nicely fit into my living room. It is very easy to pair with smrt leds and other equipment. It is not portable... It would be better if it has facilitated with battery backup.

This is my third Alexa device after echo dot and echo Show 5. It has better sound quality than previous devices. 8 inch screen is perfectly fit at study table and it is good size for video viewing as well.
