well, i owned a SF514-52T. It's less than a kg, i7 (8th gen), with 16g ram and 1tb ssd. For me to get a new one, it's specs has to be better than this. After looking at most of the >1kg laptops, i am so happy to discover this just released model, from Acer, the 55T. Same specs, but 11th gen, with an "Evo" core. The difference is, it is slightly heavier than my old one, but it's about 1.1kg, so negligible. The touch screen is much better. It couldn't be bent all the way down like the 52T, but that's fine. The heat is still there, as most i7, but didn't feel as hot as my old one. There are 3 charging ports (the usual, the USB3, and the USB-C), but the cables were not supplied. I'll have to test them someday. My 52T's charging cable has been changed 3 times, so if this one got problem, i got alternatives.
What i don't like: The sound is a bit weak, when compared with the 52T, or other laptop. Well, most of us don't derive music entertainment from laptop speakers, so i am fine with using a good headphone.
This 55T looked and feels very classic, with this uncommon Misty-Green (the other color is gold). I am about 2nd day into using this, as i am typing this review, so i might add something else when i have more experience with it.
Definitely recommend it, 4 star out of 5.
