Supported OS: 1. Windows 10 2. Windows 10 3. Windows 10 Yes i bought it because i wanted to install linux (ubuntu) on this beautiful machine but after 1 night research found that its kernel does not support its hardware config, not just ubuntu all others linux distros are not happy with it, mind my 1 night research. So any linux fan please don't waste your money. Looks does matter: This is very sleek good built laptop, its lightening fast even on 4 gb ram and i3 6th gen, you can consider it for light work, like editing scripts working excel files and all , i can comment much on battery backup now its been just a since i am using it. Keys are perfectly placed, people who dont like numpad keys on laptop can go for it, or people who use page up page down home and end key, with shift, people good with keyboard use them quite often, yes go with it its for you. Screen: I am very disappointed with screen(display) quality , you can see dots on the pixel even its full hd display but does not behave like one. after working on good screen laptop you won't pefer working on it. Yeah screen quality does matter for all sorts of work isnt it? If you somehow manage to install windows 7 on it you will be struggling with the drivers, so please save your time with R&D because i have done that, you can paypal me for that wink wink! Weight: This machine is very light and fast no second thought on that. so if you are prone to travel around and don't want to carry heavy machine with you go for it. Because its not supporting linux kernel for now i would rate it 1 star for that. for build quality i will rate 5 star for display quality i will rate 1 star. Take decision wisely friends.

Writing and honest review. brought this laptop after lots of reserch. Trust me when I say this only LAPTOP or ultrabook available at this price range. Superb Quality. A value for Money product. Look Youtube review you will not find even a single drawback of this device. Note - NO GUI OS comes pre install aprat from Acer Linux command line.

Great product. Everything written positive in above comments are absolutely true. I am going to add which is not mentioned on other comments. Uses Intel hd 520 graphics card and it keeps 1.8 gb ram for its use and so you will find 1.8 Gb ram is hardware used with windows 10x64 and you will be left with 2.1 GB usable only ram. There is a software tweak under regedit to use 3.9 GB as usable ram out of 4gb. GOOGLE it. I used that and its handling way more multiple tasks. Feeling very proud for the decision to purchase this look alike of macbook air with windows 10.

If You want to buy a Laptop with SSD+i5 (7th gen) You are left with no other choice in this price segment. The said combination gives you an unbeatable performance. SSD: For the ssd, boot time is about (4sec), The fingerprint scanner adds to the start up convenience and the application starts as soon as you click them. 256GB is enough space. Make a partition of 120 GB, which should be enough for the C Drive. Processor: i5,7th gen with performance mode enabled at the power menu Don't let any process stuck. Its been 2 weeks now. No hang/lag for even a single instance. Processes and software installation are faster then never before. RAM: The only place where it lags, is the RAM. Ya, It comes with 4GB of RAM. But, believe me, there is no issue with it. I have tested the RAM by opening multiple applications and numerous tabs on chrome. All are hold in memory. NO ISSUE IN MULTITASKING. Additionally, It has 4 Slots and 2 are used only. So, Upgrade it, If you really want. Battery: I have used this laptop 8 hours continuously, without turning off the display even once. Still left with 10% charge. Thats enough. If it was a mobile 8 hours Screen on time would be insane. Weight and design: 1.5 KG only. Its very comfortable to carry and handle. Ultra slim. Lid can be opened using one hand. Lid can be bend upto 180�. All aluminum chassis. No fan opening. Display: Display is average. HD display with good color accuracy. 14inch screen with HD resolution is not so bad. Obviously not the best. Ports: USB 3 and Type C ports are lightning fast. Headphone performance is good. Has, HDMI. But lacks a LAN port. But, you can buy a LAN to Type c converter if you need. Keyboard: Backlit keyboard. Its really good to type in. Backlit intensity can not be controlled like macbook air. But, don't think it is really needed. No led for Capslock (You get a on monitor notification). Its not a full keyboard (Don't have number pads as its 14inch ultrabook). Trackpad: Trackpad is very good. Supports gesture and works really well). Works as expected. Speaker: Have stereo speakers at the bottom in both the sides of the laptop. Loud and sweet. True sound. Game: This is not really meant to be used for Gaming. But, I tried playing Far Cry 4, it runs smoothly. Graphics quality is not upto the mark though. So, for light gaming there won't be a problem. (Don't expect to run latest high end games without a dedicated graphics card) Overall: If you are a professional and want to buy a laptop as your daily driver for light to heavy task.. Apart from graphics related work this is the ultimate choice. Just go for it. Extend warranty upto 3 years for 1750/- from acer website. Including 1 year Accidental Damage Protection.

Flipkart delivery just on the next day afternoon is really praiseworthy ordered it at about 11 AM on August 01. Simple but good packaging. In fact, I was in dilemma - which one to opt - Acer Swift 3 or HP x360 14 inch core i5. Finally, I opted this one and it was a correct decision. Let's come to the product. After 1 month of extensive use my impressions are: Pros : 1. Looks and feel : A premium ultrabook, mimicking a Macbook Air, with great looks. Its thin but offers a sturdy solid feeling 2. Built : Solid all metal chassis with good spacious keyboard and very responsive touchpad. 3. Processor : Powerful latest Core i7 (7th gen.) Karby Lake processor is power efficient, smooth & I felt no lags even working with Arc GIS and Video editing. 4. RAM : 8 GB 2133 is more than sufficient for everyday use and multitasking 5. Battery backup : Excellent! With WiFi on, Windows upgrade and Recovery Drive creation, this beast used only 35% of the full charged battery in 3 hours. I got an average backup of around 6.5 hours with WiFi on and some heavy tasks, while about 8 hours with WiFi off and MS Office and some light apps (although Acer claims a 12 hour backup). 6. Storage : 256 GB PCIe NVME M2 SSD (Intel P600 series) is smooth and fast (booting time 3-4 sec) apps are launched very fast without any delay. 7. Display : Mediocre or at best average 8. Sound : Average, thin. 9. MS Office 2016 Home & Student lifetime licence is the biggest bonus 10. Fingerprint sensor is another bonus. Its quick and responsive 11. No heating issue even after 8 hours of continuous use. 12. Excellent performance scores (excellent to outstanding) in my user benchmark tests. 12. Great value for money. Cons: 1. RAM is not upgradable and is molded with the motherboard, but 8 GB appears to be sufficient for most of the users 2. Only 256 GB storage is undoubtedly small and use of an external storage is necessary. 2. Display is its greatest negative aspect its only HD & brightness is low and at higher brightness some colours appear washed out. 3. Its in no way suitable for gaming for some light games it is somehow manageable 4. Many unnecessary preinstalled apps & I got rid of them by resetting it on Windows 10 Creators Update as follows: Click Windows icon --- scroll down the app list & click 'Windows defender security centre' ---- click Device performance & health' from the drop down menu --- click ,additional information' --- on the new window, 'Fresh start' will appear ---- click 'Get started'. It will take a few minutes and the pc will install Windows 10 afresh. Its almost similar to clean installation, but some of your information will be restored. All the apps that came with the pc will be there, while MS Office, Antivirus & other apps should be reinstalled. After doing that my lappy is running like a champ. Afterall, Acer Swift 3 is a great package and considering a price tag of just 62k its an excellent purchase in comparison to other options of this category. N.B. Please create a Recovery Drive using an 8 GB Flashdrive/DVD as early as possible. And if possible, extend its warranty for another 2 years at Rs. 1769, as I did.

Value for money ultrabook, it is too nice a spec at this price tag. The only unhappiness is Acer doesnt support you if you are a Linux fan. This comes with base limpus linux and if you need to enjoy go ahead to install xubuntu 18.1 which is faster and stable than any windows product including v 10.

Amazing product in this price range. Have been using for a month and no issues at all Very lightweight and quality build The keyboard is backlit and the screen quality is moderate The specs with i3 processor and 4GB , with it being an ultrabook is super good The cooling is amazing and the fan has almost no noise So , basically if you have a constraint on budget and want to have a lightweight laptop for regular work . This is the perfect option

Good laptop considering the price. Screen resolution could have been better. YouTube video with 720P resolution looks the same as 240P.. Will give 5 star easily if the screen was better.

Looks beautiful. Very light weight.Points to note It has no DVD player,as its a ultrabook and you must have to install WINDOWS 10 or 8 by urself.So add 8000 or more for genuine key.So be prepared for that and u need to create bootable usb.
