It's A GREAT CHROME BOOK. IF YOU HAVE NOT USED CHROME OS BEFORE THERE IS A LEARNING CURVE, BUT IT CAN DO ALL THE THINGS ANDROID CAN IF NOT FASTER AND BETTER.

After a couple of days of non-use; I turned it on and wanted a password from me?A password, I didn't set a password! Why would it want one. Going back, can't access!!!

Very easy, fun to use

I have been recommending Chromebooks to other people (including my wife) and I thought I should get one for myself so I could help others. I bought an 11 inch basic Chromebook with a 1366x768 screen and found that it became my go to device when I was not at my desk with my Windows box with a 28 inch QHD monitor. I liked the Chromebook enough that I decided I would like a better and bigger screen and some more speed. I love the screen on this one. It is not QHD but the 1920x1080 resolution on a 15 inch screen is really nice. It is great for movies and tv. I have many thousand photos in Google Photos and this screen is big and sharp enough to work with them. The keyboard and touchscreen are nice.You can fold it into a tablet but you would not want to walk around carrying it. I find the weight not a problem the way I use it, which is as a laptop. I even use the tablet mode to read newspapers in portrait mode with the edge resting on my lap. I can read a full sheet replica version of a newspaper like this. If you find the type a little small sometimes there are a lot of convenient ways to adjust the size. If the tab or menu text is a little small, use Ctrl+Shift + to make it bigger. Once you have made your choice, use Ctrl+Shift - to return to the sharp native screen. Not having to worry about virus and updates is great. l still have my 11 inch Acer that I got for $200. If I pick it up because it is handy or I want something lighter I am right at home thanks to being logged into my Google account.

The build and quality of this product is very impressive, to say the least. It has a 1080p HD screen, which is clear enough for the elderly and all the accessibility and speed for younger people to enjoy. I am thoroughly happy using this Chromebook everyday and looking forward to using it the future. Also, for the price. It's not that bad.

So far this has been exactly what I wanted.

Love the speed! This is my 2nd Chromebook in 6 years. The old one still works great just wanted more features, like backlit keyboard, bigger screen, and flip to tablet mode. I've had it for several months and no problems. Well worth the money.

The headline says why I like this one. My third Chromebook. Best one yet.

Fantastic product. Fast cheap and secure

I was looking for a new tablet, but the only large one i could find was almost $900 for a 11 inch. I have been using Android for years and was worried going to chrome. I was so impressed with this laptop convertible to tablet and the ease of the transition to chrome was a breeze for me. 99.9% of all my android apps work on this so I was very happy at that.This Acer Spin is very fast and has a large storage drive. It is heavier than my old tablet but it is still easy to take along with me. Its fast, well built, and very sleek. Well worth the price.

I wish I would have done a little bit mor research because some of the things are new to me with the Chrome OS. I really do love this laptop

Very happy with the product. Performs has stated with one deficiency. The battery life does not measure up to the hype. I like the larger screen and use it as a tablet mostly But on the rare occasion where I use the keyboard I do like the fact that the keyboard is lit. I use it at home almost exclusively so battery life is less important to me.

I love that the screen spins, but it can get confusing going between input options. I can't remember how to do things in all the modes and it can get frustrating. I still can't remember how to use the mouse efficiently and have trouble navigating pages and correcting mistakes. The keyboard is missing the keys I use the most, it sets too far to the right, so I keep misaligning my right hand when typing, and the onscreen keyboard keeps getting in the way. Looking up how to do things is a long, drawn out process, and often to get the answer I know is there. (because i've seen it, but can't remember which mode it was in, or what setting it's under. But, MAN! so fancy and fun! I get to learn new stuff all the time, instead of just mindlessly surfing the web.

This Chromebook has a beautiful screen, quick boot and is very responsive. Still getting used to finding settings as I am coming from Windows. Haven't tried the touchscreen so can't comment on that. It is a little on the heavier side than a different Chromebook I tried but this one is the 15" size so to be expected. Still very portable. My reason for 3 stars is the keyboard. Yes, it is backlit which is great but what was Acer thinking with the size of the keyboard!? It is way too small for this size CB. My fingers are cramped which makes it very uncomfortable to type. I like the overall specs but the keyboard size is a big negative and might make me return it.

Good quality for this price range.

The thing that disappoints me is that you CAN'T use an external keyboard or mouse when the Acer flip is in tablet mode. When these items are attached the screen won't rotate. This isn't mentioned in the description. After trying it numerous times I began a chat with Acer. They repeatedly asked many questions and FINALLY said externals could't be used in tablet mode.

Wifi died within 2 months. Attempted to fix by 1) powerwash 2) hard reset 3) replacing wifi card. None fixed problem, what's worse, Chromebook does not come with an ethernet port. Online, the only other possible fix is to clean leads to antenna, something I don't feel comfortable doing, since antennas is mounted behind screen. It's also something that should not need fixing 2 months after purchase.

I just could not power it on the next day i receive it. What you see is a black screen only and nothjng else. Could I give a zero star to this product?

I never see something like that, the worst computer i never used. I cant use one only app with out 3 or 4 screen resets or sistem reset. I cant see one youtube video, nothing. My worst buy never and because my travels i lose the devolution window. How they can make something like that???? My phone works better,
