Great product. Excellent looks. Fairly compact. Great performance. Battery life not yet tested but no great expectations there. Overall worth the money!

I am using this laptop for 9 months. It is good for gaming and run games upto 2015 very smoothly. I recently played Rise of the tomb raider on this laptop. At Custom Setting gives 40fps gameplay but sometime lags. Played many games without problem. Good in video editing. Its perform task very well and useful for day to day. So buy it. But the battery backup is of 2.5 hours only and Can games only when charger is connected. Superb Laptop at this price.

It looks much better than in the picture. Sleek and attractive! You cannot hope for a better configuration at this price. You just wont get something like this anywhere else in the market! Personal opinion, if you need a laptop around the range 20-45k, always prefer an AMD. You get a better machine for the same price and you get amazing features. the AMD A10 is a quadcore running at 1.9GHz with a turbo clock speed of 3.20Ghz while the i5 4th gen is a dual core with a lower clock speed. Now it is true that intel is more efficient, but with all that extra resource provided, AMD actually works better. So, in the lower and mid range, AMD would be awesome. If you wish to go higher, nothing beats intel beyond 60k.

WHY YOU SHOULD GO FOR IT? 1. under 40k mark, this is the best u can get. 2. APU QUAD CORE A10 is more or less a AMD version of i5 4th generation 4200u. for more detailed discussion read this one cpuboss.com/ cpus/ Intel-Core-i5-4200U-vs-AMD-A10-4655M the verdict was No clear cut winner, both are equal more or less so, you can easily look over the confusion over AMD processor.. for core i is too pricey for similar performance 3. all softwares like AUTODESK AUTOCAD, INVENTOR and other heavy design softwares and all in 2014 VERSIONS. ((remember: it is the ONLY laptop in this price range that will support even 3DS MAX 2014 version.)) they run so smooth, without any hiccup. I have used ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, AFTER EFFECTS, PREMIERE and SONY VEGAS PRO and all in the latest versions(CS6 MASTER COLLECTION OR 2014/2015). They both runs smooth and without any difficulty. the RENDERING TIME is also slightly LESS than the laptops at this price range.(i have used two more). 4. the webcam is pretty good. it has good color reproduction. LOVED IT. 5. Looks: clean looks.. , this one adopts a minimalist attitude and has only a few stickers and they are very small. overall it looks very clean and edgy. 6. Wow. The laptop is a great buy for the pricing and the specs Acer sure seems to have stuck a right cord here. There have been no AMD A10 products in the Indian market off late. The A10 competes directly with Intel core i5, and beats it in all departments except power consumption. Thankfully, acer has carefully given a 6 cell battery for this, while the norms of competing brands is just 4cell batteries. So below is my list of Pros & Cons Pros: 1. Price point: An equivalent product on Core i5 would cost 45k atleast.. Such a steal 2. AMD 2GB graphics - AMD, generally found on playstations, is a great buy for gamers. Absolutely zero lag on any of my high end games (tried on counter strike & assassins creed) 3. Battery - 6 cell battery easily lasts over 5hours (most competition only have a 4 cell battery) 4. 4mb cache - not mentioned in the specs but helps a lot for guys accessing mails/browsing, & ms office for quick turnaround 5. Easy to expand memory (upto 16gb) - never know when we need more Cons: 1. lack of pre installed Win 8 - guess you can't have it all 2. Comes with HD display, would have loved Full HD display on this performance beast (though not many in this price range offer it) Final verdict: Just go for it.. a deal in its true sense

Budget gaming laptop....Future ready device APU A10 better than i5 in terms of graphics could have been better if shipped with windows 8.1 Anyway no complaints.......JUST GO FOR IT

Amazing product at this price point. Graphics card dedicated helps me to do designing part and 8GB RAM allows me to work on multiple applications at a time. Hard disc memory is enough to store all my movies and songs

Easily one of the best laptop in 30-40k range.. i found this when i was looking for a budget gaming laptop and found this! been 10days since i bought this and it is a very good performer when it comes to gaming and i have tested various games like GTA 5,DBC 14,wwe 2k15 and batman arkham city at mid-high settings and it runs smooth most of the times without the need to overclock and i use amigo fifa edition gamepad along with it wich .. Only downside is it doesnt come with windows 8 but u can install it easily by downloadin and seein tutorials from youtube..and flipkart asm ususal did an amazing ob in deliving the product after I opted for in a day delivery

amazing guz of course on time very early within 3 days pros: amd a10 which can be compared to i5 ,quadcore 1.9 t0 3.2 ghz comes with 8gb ram installed which u can get up top 16gb 2gb ddr3 graphics -u can play any games 1tb hhd-can install any games i played max payne 3 ,gta4,crysis 2,cod black ops with '0' lag cons: nothing in performance but built quality is little poor but ok for this price u will need a cooling pad since it gets heated up very fast and very very hot........

One clear cut word to say that is "Awesome!!!" Coming to the config. It's Loving to work with it..!!! :) Best thing is Core processor speed.. Boosting upto 3.2Ghz And Quite better thing to be added to this is "Slimness" If that one thing queued up... i am about to buy this product 1.can anyone who bought this product tell me the exact battery capacity in mah printed on battery 2.battery life in continuous internet use(wifi)

One of the best laptops in this price range. No issues whatsoever in multitasking, HD video streaming, high-end graphics gaming owing to the 8 GB RAM and 2 GB R7 graphics in place. It works like a charm. Configurable graphics is another plus, which means you can switch between Integrated and Dedicated graphics for every application. You don't want your R7 graphics to come into play for everything you do unless you are playing some high end graphics game or watching movies. For rest other applications, your integrated graphics would suffice. Battery backup is also pretty good. Would last for close to 2.5 hours while playing games continuously, 3 hours of video streaming, 4 hours of normal usage and 6+ hours if idle. A couple of issues that I noticed in these 6 months: 1. Whenever you restart your laptop, the brightness level automatically moves up to the maximum. You have to bring it down again. 2. Also, you won't get less battery notification if you are watching movies in full screen. The laptop hibernates automatically without a warning. In other cases like when your are browsing etc., it would throw a warning notification. 3. Sometimes the synaptic driver (mouse pad) doesn't startup automatically when you boot up your laptop(Frequency being 2-3 times out of 10). The synaptics driver helps you in scrolling up and down and other functionalities using finger gestures. In that case, you need to hibernate and start or simply restart your laptop to make it functional again. 4. It heats up a quite while playing heavy games. But I won't call it an issue as it is the case with every AMD processor. FINAL VERDICT: If you want these specifications without digging deeper into your pocket, GO FOR IT !!!

Almost searched for a good config for a week. Not able to get compromised when to this one. Very nice Spec for this price. Just installed Win 8.1 after changing the Legacy mode in BIOS trick before installing OS. As of now performance is too good. It boots within 8 Seconds. Purchased another one for my cousin as well. Only Cons. is it produces more heat because of 2GB dedicated AMD Radeon Graphics card. Lots of review says that it good for HC games. I can recommend this.

After 8 months of use,still this one is surprising me. i've no problem with this one even with heavy usage.like after effects cc,adobe premiere pro,ps cs6,and games like farcry 4,cod black ops 2 nd 3,max payne 3, ac bf4,rouge etc. without any flaw. gta v and fallout 4 with very little lags(at medium graphics). The only problem with this lap is heating issue which is always happens with AMD processors. If u're a gamer, u should buy a cooling pad with this one. Apart from heating issues, its a gem of product from acer.

I have an issue with one of the USB port which doesn't support data transfer but everything else is perfect :)

Before buying this laptop,I was in search for inter i5 types of laptop,,,,,none of them had price below 40k and my budget was only 40k then by surfing net I came through this one..and I order it quickly.... now after 10 month what I notice.. 1.HEAVY APPS like after affect,sony vegas,blender,and other popular animation software run smoothest and rendering is quit fast, 2.BROWSING net with chrome is blazing fast. 3.it can run MOVIES 1080p FULL hd smoothly. 4.GAMING.(that's my favourite) I have played..assassin creed 3,cod ghost,cod mw4,arma3,gta v,batman arkham city,....cs.go...all these work pretty smooth with some change in setting. And if ur facing any problem update your driver package,,,,you'll be happy then.. AT LAST YOU CAN'T GET BETTER AT THIS PRICE

Well, initially I was skeptical about both Acer and AMD but now, exactly after a month's usage of this fantastic combo-product, I have no doubts in my mind that I made the right decision. You've got processing, graphics, memory, RAM, web-cam - all at its best and that too at a lower price. I am sure anyone who has paid around 45-60 K for a similar Intel product would be jealous of the one who possess this device. People considering this product will have doubts if the AMD processor can stand up to Intel i5 but I can assure you from my experience that you won't regret buying this unless you can afford an Intel processor. I wish to add a few more important points that will either guide you in buying/using this product: 1. You won't be provided an OS so you will have to get one of your own. With an OS in hand, you may install it by following these instructions - -- Press f2 on seeing the 'Acer' startup screen after switching on the laptop -- Go to 'Boot' and change the boot mode to legacy -- Change the boot priority to USB/CD depending upon the source of OS installation files. -- Save and secure the BIOS with a password. 2. You may have problems with your touch pad. It is unlike the old ones. You have to swipe with both your fingers in the center of the keypad in the direction you want to scroll (Horizontal/Vertical). 3. You need to install all the drivers from the disc provided to you in order to use WiFi and other features. Besides, I have tested games like GTA 4, Watch Dogs and FIFA 15 - all of which work really well. You may have to use the AMD Catalyst Center to choose the priority of your games to 'High Performance' if you aim to get the best of your graphic card. The only Con besides not getting an OS with the product is heating of the laptop during prolonged gaming. Otherwise, I think I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a good laptop at an optimal price.

Using it for almost one year not a single hardware problem yet.good for use, heating problem is common with amd processors so it's natural, so better to buy a cooling pad if u feel it's heating up very much

Brought 2 years back, still in love with this monster...

Buying Experience i bought the latest model(which comes with 2TB of HDD and preinstalled oem Windows 10) from RelianceDigital just because they were providing free 4 in one Printer @Rs 36000, it was the chance, at that time flipkart was charging 35K for this product. Performance i almost ran all games with it n they ran, u r never going to complain it but but due to switchable graphics the drivers not working correctly in games like GTA5,u will see ur R7(dedicated graphics) not working efficiently, so my gta5 experience was not good, but works well with other games..although this notebook needs tweaking n boosting if u want to unleash real power but it heats up quicker. Battery and Display I dont like dim lights so my brightness is always on 75-100, wifi n bluetooth r ON all the time n simultaneously 4-5 tasks, even with all this it gives around 4.5Hrs of battery backup, what else u need?????? Verdict its not a super computer which will fulfill all your task neither its a gaming notebook, as im not such a heavy gamer so im happy with it. if u want a good notebook @ 45K then i must say just go for it(latest one) n save some of your money else invest more 8-12K n buy more power than it.

Almost 3 years completed.. replaced the motherbord once while in warrnty period.. the problem was headphone jack was not workng.. but they replaced the whole bord. after that no problem until now. considering my usage its prtty good deal. was a great deal befor 3 years.. now its an avrag deal. corns. heatng problems stays there. is not perfornmg battery backup like a 6 cell lap. and do never use while its on lap or in bed.. could heat fastly and damage the lap. better use an externl fam
