amd ryzren 5 with 8 gb ram is beast itself and please consider buying this if your budget is around 40k its worth of the money.

After months of researching sub-40k options and narrowly missing out on major discounts on the Swift 3 Ryzen 5, this Aspire 3 seemed like the best option left available in the market. I'm no tech person, but benchmark data and reviews place the Ryzen 5 ahead of most consumer grade Intel CPUs out there. Now you will find some configurations with 8th gen Intels in this price bracket, but you'll surely find them missing out on either a FHD screen, adequate RAM, or pre-installed Win 10, if those are your needs. Vega 8 is arguably superior to any of Intel's IG and ranks better than even some low end discreet GPU set ups that some manufacturers squeeze in just to check the dedicated graphics box. So all in all, this config is suited for anyone looking for a package offering a combination of processing and multi tasking needs, light gaming, and semi professional level image editing. My views are based on 3 days of extensive usage: optimizing the configuration for my needs, setting up a robust development platform, running some sim based games on high to ultra settings without lags, and doing some photo editing work simultaneously in rawtherapee and gimp without hassle. So all in all, a good buy! Other observations: placed the order on a Thursday night before 1025pm, had it delivered the next day by 11am. Packaging was good, and though I hear a lot about seller sending refurbished products, this couldn't have been the case here, with manufacturing date being just the previous month and win 10 build being just a week old. It does come with 1gb Vega 8 of course, FHD (no IPS), and build feels solid. No keyboard backlight etc., sounds alright (not great) with the speakers being at the bottom and certainly not designed for extreme entertainment. The drive gets only one partition, so needs some tweak, depending on needs. On heavy usage, there's a bit of noise, the battery life isn't the best, and though there's some heating, it dissipates along the lid on general usage, almost none! I was exploring the possibility of making additional RAM available for graphics, but it seems to be locked out in the BIOS. Most articles even detail out the pointlessness of attempting to do that, so left it as is, for the satisfactory performance levels. I got some extra discounts and paid just a wee bit over 37k, and that's a bargain for this beast. You can surely get much worse pretending to be premium and latest, for that kind of price, or more!

Overal - One of the best buys. Equivalent to laptops costing Rs.70k Pros - Processor is very good. Equivalent to a high end Intel Proessor like i7-7700HQ. The graphics is on par with Nvidia 150MX The whole package is much cheaper compared to the Intel Nvidia combo. We can get 60+fps on most new games on low settings. It does play 4K videos. Does not heat Display is fine, fully HD. No lags in use of system resources. Cons - has only 3 USB ports out of which only 1 is USB3 and the other 2 usb ports are on the right side. This is kind of inconvenient Hard Drive is 5400rpm but most laptops in this range have only this. Battery life is moderate No seperate headphone and mic jacks. Single stereo headphone+mono mic The indicator lights for what ever reason are kept in the most invisible place and are not visible from a normal working position..

Bought this product today. Really happy with the delivery within one day. Super fast. Preloaded window's is amazing at this price. The processor ryzen 5 is the newest and the fastest one available. Better than i5 at this price range. Acer has international warranty sent as well. Overall really amazing laptop for 39.000rs.

Its an excellent laptop in this price segment. Ryzen 5 is a very fast processor (8 threads , not a matter of joke). Overall display , build and all are good.

For the specs, the price is quite low. The interface is bright and the mousepad is sufficiently responsive. There could be some issue with the mouse buttons, but that isn't a major drawback. Ryzen 5 is a great processor, handles multitasking smoothly. Radeon Vega is a game changer as well. Go for it.

it's Awesome for a budget laptop , but it's a little bit slow although what you get in 28k ... it's good in features I play GTA 5 in this with HD graphics and it runs smoothly also it won't heat after a gameplay of 3-4 hours . I prefer this laptop

Build Quality: This laptop is mostly plastic but there is very little flex in the chassis. Screen: The screen is an LCD panel with LED backlight. It doesn't get very bright but good for indoor use. The colors are poor and inaccurate. It can fold 180 degrees (flat). Thermals: The exhaust vent is at the back and there is one fan. It doesn't get hot with normal use. Even when the CPU is stressed, the fan is quiet. No thermal throttling. CPU: This is a Ryzen 5 2500u with 8 threads and 4 cores. It is better than the 7th gen i5 (i5 7200u) and is on par with the 8th gen i5 (i5 8250u). L1 cache: 384 KB, L2 Cache: 2 MB, L3 Cache: 4 MB. The base frequencies are just 2 GHz but it can't even maintain it (even if the vents are not blocked). Cinebench R20 (multi-core): 786 (CPU was at 1.5 GHz all the time even without any thermal throttling. Super slow). Can't be compared with R15. GPU: This has a Vega 8 GPU without dedicated VRAM. The memory is shared with system memory, so only 6.9 / 8 GB is usable. This is better than an MX130. The MX150 GPU is roughly 30% better, and also has dedicated VRAM, so go for that if you need a better GPU. 70-100 FPS in CS:GO @1080p low settings Speakers: The speakers are located at the bottom. They are not loud and audio quality is poor. Keyboard: The keystrokes are not linear (linear = bad) and quiet. Key travel is ok. Overall a good keyboard. But, the Caps Lock and Num Lock indicators are not there and there is only a visual on the screen that appears when they are pressed (format the HDD and lose that too) Trackpad: It is not textured and is plastic. It runs Windows Precision drivers and is good (Upto 4 finger gestures are supported). Battery: This is a 37 Wh battery, as detected by Windows in powercfg. The battery life is 3 hours on light usage. The power adapter is only 45 W but can charge quickly (< 2 hours from 20% to 100%). After 1.5 years, the battery capacity has degraded by 27%. Go for some other laptop if you want good battery life. Webcam: garbage HDD: 5400RPM, add an SSD and install Windows on it (This makes the system much more responsive and faster). An M.2 (SATA) slot is available inside it. So, an SSD can be added in the future. Note: This laptop, when manufactured by Acer, has only 4 GB of RAM and no 8 GB RAM model is available in India. The seller adds another 4 GB stick, but this doesn't void warranty. This means that the laptop is already opened by the seller to add RAM. Also in my laptop, he wrote 8 GB over 4 GB with a marker, both on the laptop sticker and the box, but the warranty is not voided. Warranty: It has 1 year ITW warranty. This means that you can only take it to ITW service centers (In Nehru Place, New Delhi and Bangalore). All other service centers will just refuse to do anything. Check the Acer website for more info. This also has a lot of bloatware. 17 types of Solitaire games that nobody plays, 6-7 Acer apps that constantly run in the background, and above all that, Norton. The MRP is actually Rs. 42000 something but in the website it is mentioned Rs. 45,999 (I bought it for Rs. 36,990). My model was manufactured in July 2018 and the Windows was very old (1803) it takes a while to update it (~4 hours to get to the 1809 version). EDIT (IMPORTANT): The Acer Support is TERRIBLE. The chat support doesn't work. The CPU stays at 47 degrees Celsius with just Chrome open and the HDD at 40-45 degrees Celsius. TLDR: This is the best laptop in this price range in terms of performance, although make sure that you remove the bloatware.

Ubuntu / Debian installation will be difficult. fedora can be installed. there are no indicators for caps lock. that is bad. power button placement could have been better. apart from this, it is a decent laptop.

Everything is perfect at this price. I played tekken 6 at higher graphics , it runs smoothly and decently. But this enjoyment lasts for 1.5 - 2 hrs. only. Undoubtedly it has battery issue. Should have been better in my opinion. But we can't forget it has Ryzen 5 Processor with Vega 8 Graphics (and yes 8 gb RAM), so we don't have any right to say it is worthless. This laptop never lets you feel you are using a sluggish system. This deal is #Good.

Ssd and ram need to upgrade to play well and for speed but for this price it was awesome 🔥🔥🔥🔥
