Amazon worker jumps off company building after email to CEO
An Amazon employee was injured in what seems to be an attempted suicide by leaping off a building at the company’s Seattle headquarters. Before jumping, the individual wrote an email to hundreds of colleagues, including CEO Jeff Bezos, complaining about how the company handled a transfer request he had put in. The man survived the fall from the 12-story building and was taken to a Seattle hospital.

Lenovo-owned Motorola has teased the launch of the metal-bodied Moto M smartphone in India with a tweet saying “Something different is coming your way.” The smartphone was unveiled in China earlier this month at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 19,700), but the company’s India division has not said anything about the price yet. Moto M has a 5.5-inch full-HD screen, Android 6.0 Marshmallow software, 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio P15 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, up to 128GB microSD card support, 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel selfie camera, and a 3050mAh battery.
iOS 10.1.1 reportedly causing battery life issues for some iPhone users
Apple’s support forum has been flooded with complaints by users writing to the company about their iPhone's battery life since updating the device to iOS 10.1.1. While some users said that the battery life dies out after reaching 30 percent level, others claim that the entire battery life drains out in around two hours without any active usage. A user who contacted Apple Support said he was informed that the engineering team is working on a fix.
